How to Use

  1. 1Select nominal lumber size (2×4, 1×6, etc.)
  2. 2Enter board length in feet and inches
  3. 3Adjust quantity for multiple boards
  4. 4Optionally enter price per board foot
  5. 5See board feet, linear feet, and cost

Board Feet Formula

BF = T × W × L ÷ 12

T = thickness (in), W = width (in), L = length (ft)

e.g. 2×4 at 8 ft:

1.5 × 3.5 × 8 ÷ 12 = 3.5 BF
